Can't beat the price.

I was looking for an O2 analyzer that I could afford and didn't surprise my wife. This fit the bill. As others have pointed out, this is more than expected. I see that there is already a replacement sensor on the market for this product. I'm not sure when or if I'll need it, but I think it's good to know. Update after 6 months on performance.

Works well. The industry standard for boats I've been on.

Used on several diving trips. Some farms do not have analyzers, which reduces the risk to a minimum. I've been where they are on trips, but with 16 divers (like on a safari) I don't have to wait and hope my turn before diving. Quite expensive for a diver doing 50-60 dives on 3-4 trips per year but I want to know and be in control of my diving life. Easy to use and seems to be the industry standard as every boat has this model.

Pros
  • Sports and outdoor activities
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

A bit odd for scuba diving but easy workaround

I bought this to do O2 analysis in enriched air tanks (nitrox) for scuba diving. A small difference of 1.2% between what is on the label and what is actually in the mix can change the dive plan. After calibrating at 20.9% with a conventional air bottle on the valve port, I tested the bottle at 30%. Quickstick registered 36%. We tested with two other testers who registered 30%. Surprised, we put the 1st stage and the regulator on the EANx tank. Then I checked the controller with a quickstick…

Works as advertised

First some context. After my Palm O2 showed 10-20% drift after 2-3 years of technical diving, it was obvious it was time to buy a new oxygen analyzer. At around $100 plus or minus, the Palm is very cheap, but you can't replace the sensor, which means you have to throw the thing away, and as an environmentalist, I hate breaking things that are 99% still good . Palm, this is just disgusting in 2021! I was thinking of a Divesoft analyzer that would protect me on ALL future dives that I, my…
