The collar bled when it got wet and my dog had a bad reaction to this which resulted in her hair falling out and ulcers appearing under the collar. She has a large two-quarter wound on her neck. I'm not sure if she's allergic or if the ink is caustic, but the ink shouldn't drip off the collars.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Hard to say

Product label says 9" to 13" for this small item. Even with 1/2 clip inserts it's barely 12 inches, remove the 1/2 clip insert and it will reach nearly 11 inches. My pet was 10.5 inches behind the ears a few inches below the neck. Might have come back to get a medium. My Opinion: Allow -2 inches from the listed maximum length to fit your pet.

Good but not good for dogs

Very strong, good colour. It was like a rubik's cube when trying to adjust the length, but it worked after wasting a lot of time. I had a problem with the lock. I pinched and pulled. and pulled and pushed and pulled, and finally, finally, I managed to undo the latch. I asked my husband to try it thinking it would be just me but no. he had problems, but in the end he got it. The clasp is very tight and difficult to open, but the collar looks good. Maybe it can be lubricated or waxed? I am not…

Good for GOATS too!

I am buying these for my goats. I have Nigerian dwarfs and the small size is suitable for children, the medium size is suitable for females and yearling males, and the large size is suitable for my adult deer. These collars fit my goats perfectly and I have been ordering them for several years. Goats are very picky about collars and will wear them outdoors 24/7. On average, I change collars every year, but that's more for cosmetic reasons (colors are fading or they look messy) than because they

Decent for the price

Good enough for the price I think. I ordered a large for our 55lb Aussie lab mix and it's pretty close to how small it is, but we only use it to hold his tokens and have a separate walking harness. It was a bit awkward to open the packaging and see that the emblem has already fallen off. It doesn't matter in the long run, but it looks like a quality control issue. We had it with our boy for about a week. It was in the pouring rain and we haven't experienced any paint bleeding like some other…

Best collar he's ever had and it's cheap

This collar is one of the best he's ever had! The remaining 5 collars he either bit off somehow or took his head off and they cost more than $15. I was a little worried by the reviews but he had this one for a while and the only thing is he's a bit dirty but he's a street dog so here's what you get we didn't have color and no stains on his coat and nothing. In addition, it is very durable and not easy to slip, it needs a tug to tighten or loosen. I 100% recommend this collar, it's one of the…

Well made, easy to put on and take off

Well made. Easy to put on and take off the dog. I bought it as an extra collar for the Invisible Barrier System for Sporting Dogs. The collar that came with the system was a hard plastic that broke in a hole the second time we put it on the dog. Also, the collar that comes with the system is a traditional hole type, so you'll have to tighten, check the fit, and tighten or loosen it every time you put it on your dog. I used an electric soldering iron to melt holes in the nylon and then mounted…

Orange Paint Weaver's Hurt My Dog

I bought two of these orange collars for Champ in 2017, one of four large white dogs. We love the orange color on Champa because he has a tanned mask on one side of his face and the orange goes well with his looks. In white dogs there is also a very noticeable dirt. Usually, after a long play, we water the dogs with a garden hose, dry them off with a towel, and then let them back inside. Unfortunately, this manufacturer has chosen a dye that not only bleeds when wet, but also causes unpleasant…
