The paddle that I bought worked like it was advertised. They didn't wear me out after using them all day and trust me if you don't have the right paddle you will get tired after a while if you do any real kind of kayaking like we do. It won't take it very long for you to understand why having a great paddle makes all the difference. This is a simple and effective paddle. Easy to put the two ends together and take them apart. Light weight. May not be suitable for those with large hands!

Love this paddle enough that I purchased a second one. It’s a lower end paddle hats great for the price. It’s light which makes it easier on the body during a day of paddling. Like that it’s reinforced with fiberglass, something I don’t see a lot in paddles in this price point. I’m 5’ 1” and use them for an 8’, 30” wide kayak and a 10’, 31” kayak.

I was supposed to buy fishing paddles. Oops. Loved these, but returned easily to get the right ones for fishing. Great quality.

I love these paddles!At first I thought the whole thing was metal (yes I had read the description:) and then realized that the paddles are a very sturdy plastic, nicely curved for more powerful strokes. We haven't had the opportunity to try these kayak paddles yet, but on visual inspection that appear to be strong and sturdy yet lightweight. The length should be just right and the materials they are made with should last based on what they looked like when they arrived. Will only know after some use how they perform and hold up over time.
