If youā€™re looking for a wood finish that not only looks fantastic but is easy to apply, look no further than Odieā€™s Oil. Our finish not only works on all species of wood, its ideal for leather, metal, plastic and more! Odieā€™s Oil can also be used as a wood stabilizer and is food safe, solvent free and non-toxic making it great for kitchen and cooking based projects. Odieā€™s Oil is very easy to use. Simply wipe Odieā€™s Oil on to your project, wait a while, then buff it off. Unlike conventional wood finishes thereā€™s no sanding or stripping needed between coats or retouching. Up to 20 times the coverage as conventional finishes. Coverage will vary depending on wood density and porosity. Odies Oil works with all species of wood, exotic or domestic, hard or soft. It has also been specially formulated to work on the oiliest of woods and still produce a wonderful looking sheen. A unique trait of our Odieā€™s Oil finish is that it tends to get better looking with age once it is applied. The finish contains natural UV inhibitors which are a sunscreen for your wood!. Where can I use Odieā€™s Oil? Odie's Oil is great for interior and exterior applications like Boats, Brightwork, Doors, Floors, Decks, Gates, Fine Furniture, Patio Furniture, Bowls, Cutting Boards, Kitchen Implements, Toys, auto detail, concrete, leather and metal, etc. etc. The list goes on and on and on!. Odie's Oil is a proprietary blend of oils, born out of inspiration, hard work and a driving need to solve problems specific to the woodworker. The culmination of 30 plus years of research, development and field testings in the most extreme environments produced a revolutionary product that out-performs and out-covers the competition. Remember, a little Odieā€™s Oil goes a long way! Use it sparingly.

Great product in the home cleaning category

I love this product. After reading a few reviews I decided to pull Odie's trigger. After sanding the walnut boards, they looked lifeless after using the Odies, causing the wood to crack. My only regret is that I didn't take a larger size. Definitely recommend

Impressive product, SO easy to use!

We installed 3/4" thick raw red oak flooring in our remodeled kitchen and didn't want the glossy polyurethane look and needed something to protect and preserve. It was as easy to use as it says, and yes, very low odor and that little jar covers a lot of wood! We made our kitchen and hallway with little leftovers. Time will tell if this helps protect against spills and traffic!

Best Wood Oil Ever for Polishing and Conditioning Wood

I know it's expensive but order a jar, try it and you won't use any other. Odie's Oil pops wood grain like no other product I've ever used. Very easy to apply (wipe - wash) and amazing results. I just used this jar to finish two mahogany pots I made and they came out amazing. I used the leftovers to restore some of my wife's handmade wooden spoons (Odie's oil is safe to use on all wooden cutlery and chopping boards).

Strange to say but it smells GREAT!

I have used many different oils, waxes and finish sealers and this is probably the most fun. The smell is wonderful, and I had to remind myself several times not to eat the orange, jam-like substance. It smelled like magical beard balm: citrus forests and bees dancing happily among the flowers (but not the flowers). I'm sure if I spread it on toast it would count as mediocrity for low quality jam. Oh, it also leaves a nice finish on the wood.

As they simply say.

I used Odie's Oil on my daughter's rustic table and bench. White oak top sanded to 1500 grit. Photo shows color change. It doesn't last long, is easy to apply and easy to remove. We'll have to wait and see how durable it is. Another plus is that it is food safe and easy to reapply. No grinding, no taking out, no stink. Simply reapply, wait 40 minutes and buff. I also applied a coat of Odie's Wood Butter. I think it helps with liquids that get on it. Since Odie's Oil reacts with oxygen, it's aā€¦

The best finishing product. Unbelievable. Works on everything.

this is amazing. If you go to their website they have videos on applying and rubbing but if you get creative there is no limit. Here are some unauthorized things I do with it on curly wood: 1) Dilute it 50/50 with Audi's Safe Thinner and it will go much deeper. They call it "Odie's Super Penetrating Oil". 2) If you heat the wood during application, the results can be even better. 3) Can be tinted. 4) Apply with a gray pad. If you're making a floor or flat surface, use a credit card, they sayā€¦

Throw away all other finishing materials

I first looked at this product to get rid of VOCs. I was reasonably happy with my hand rubbed polish, but something was still missing. I doubted Odie's oil sheen as I used oil finishes which basically just darkened the wood, lacking depth and dulled. This product accentuates any wood shape and creates tremendous depth. On walnut it darkens the wood significantly, while on maple it only creates a slight walking effect. I would describe the finish as if you would see it on a beautiful piece ofā€¦

Too hyped and too expensive for what it is

So this material is marketed as a magic elixir that does wonders for wood. It's good stuff for the right job, but not for every project. This is a basic oil based wood finish and the price is at least double what it should be. I have used two bottles of this product on different projects and it works well and I think it even smells nice. It's easy to apply, easy to wipe off, but I felt like some of it never healed. Take the project out into the sun after it has cured for a few days. You willā€¦

MAKE A MISTAKE. JUST FINISHED. MUST WATCH.

I was looking for something new to complete a complex woodworking project. I used to use varnish and polyurethane as a finish. But sanding between coats and steaming prevented me from enjoying my woodworking projects. I was so excited when I saw Odie's Oil! Non-toxic coating that is easy to apply and polish, durable and easy to repair. Great idea, but too good to be true. I've watched every youtube video, every instagram post, read the instructions and done anything that could take me to theā€¦
