Neither size comes even close to 1 inch. Outer diameter: 1.75" Inner diameter: 1.25" I'm not sure why it's listed as a "1" when it's obviously wrong.

VERY BAD product. Fastening (nut) is easily connected. On the other hand, I can't connect. I put it on the machine, checked the dimensions, the difference is 23 thousand. Bad quality control

I guess the people who said it was great didn't try to put a 1 inch pipe or elbow in it because 1 inch pipes and elbows not fit. fit in a 1 inch bulkhead! Don't buy if you want to attach something to it, spend a little more.

Divider fits 1" PVC pipe inside tight. Be careful not to overtighten. I had torn one out of 4 at the joint when the seal slipped. So check inside to make sure the gasket is laying flat and then tighten it. Outside, standard PVC fittings are not suitable, only the fasteners included in the kit are applied to tighten. This is my second time ordering these dividers. They worked perfectly the first time and came as expected. The second batch for my new aquarium is not of the same quality. The interior of the kilt is a bit off, only one of the bulkheads came with 2 rubber bushings while the other 3 bulkheads only came with 1 bushing.
