Complete and still going!

As with most powerheads, you'll need to leave it on for a few days to get the full effect. After a few days I hardly heard him anymore. I actually bought another one and it still works. I hate loud filters and it doesn't bother me at all. I will buy again.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Big and loud! in Fish & Aquatic Pets

First, it works. Quite simply, it moves the water. But the thing is big and bulky. If size is not an issue, the noise will be very loud. So if you are looking for a small, quiet pump, this is NOT for you. But it works and filters well. So 3 stars are

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Vulgarity

It broke and clogged up after a few months.

Had mine for months, had to remove to clean because it was clogged. It broke for me. It's sad because I really like this one. But what is is. Ask for a replacement after they say yes to a replacement. A month later I had to ask Revain for my money because I never got a replacement. SMS

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Communication with seller

I like the idea and the design but too loud!

I really like the overall design and the idea of the pump and filter, but it really vibrates and is very noisy. I didn't like the noise and felt sorry for the fish. I think they're probably already deaf. Sent back and refunded. Unfortunately it didn't work, it was the perfect size and leaked a lot of water.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • no

Received this head on June 6, 2017. Installed it in a 55 gallon tank same day. The filter and nozzle cleaned the water almost immediately. The filter attracted a lot of "poop" as you can see in the photo. Cichlids are more active and seem happy. I am very happy with the purchase and will be purchasing another one soon.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Updates

Vibration noise on aquarium pumps and filters

Bought two of these before and one works fine (about two years later, still works!). But the other made a moderate noise and finally stopped working. So bought this new one, didn't install it for months (because I was a bit lazy!), but did it this weekend and unfortunately it's worse in volume. Moves a lot of water so not a problem but vibrates so much I can hear it 40ft away when attached to the glass with the included suction cups. Noisy. I checked this and I think the impeller is too small…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Band

Love this for aquarium pumps and filters

I bought one of these along with a 90 gallon tank that I bought used. I like it so much that I've since bought another one. It has a very good flow and filters the water well. This is nice because you can customize the cameras for your own media. It is very easy to clean and maintain. The impeller can be easily removed for cleaning. There wasn't a single glitch. So far I've had it for about 4 months. If the suction cups are not securely attached, vibration may occur. I've read some reviews that

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some trouble
