Product OK for Hand Tools

For removing and installing Ford 6.0 head bolts. Worked, but the middle went out on the second use. The design leaves the bolt loose in the base and its use will break the welds. It still works, but it's a pain to hold together. You can probably solder again.

Pros
  • Tools and Household Items
Cons
  • Minor Trouble

Good for hard to reach places

This is a great tool and I don't even have a Ford. Used this to get to some of the bolts behind the axle flanges on a Chevy Silverado 1500. Had to re-tighten them (to spec) and didn't feel like opening up the differential and removing the axle. I've combined this with low profile sockets and a 3/4 to 1/2 adapter to create a tool that I'm sure will find many useful uses for hard to reach screws.

Pros
  • Wrench
Cons
  • Expensive

Incorrect actuator size for my application

I bought this one thinking it had a 3/8" female end actuator and a 1/2" torque wrench inlet per the answer to one of the posted questions. It actually had a 1/2" socket and a 3/4" female thread on the end of the wrench. Not what I needed for what I was going to use it for (tightening head bolts on a Ford Flathead). Better product description needed. But it's a solid piece.

Pros
  • Hand tool
Cons
  • Almost OK
