Perfect shape, just what we were looking for!

I really liked it overall! It has one leg, a long handle and is the perfect size to put on our large pot, make a large batch etc. But after a year of (I think) almost daily use, the handle broke lol. We used it to strain a lot of pasta and noodles so it may not have held the weight. But while it lasted, it was great! I hope there are more such styles. We like the long handle. It was just the size and shape I needed for use with a small pot and small portions. But the handle is spot welded with no mechanical connection. That said, there was nothing to hold onto the grip other than the spot welding itself, and the grip's extreme leverage quickly ripped the welds off. The photos show how metal fatigue caused one side of the handle to break off at the weld and the other side is beginning to break as well. The broken weld was either over the hole or the weld had created…
