I am disappointed that the product is not the same as the original. As you notice in the picture the small shampoo is the original shampoo I bought from target and the big one is from this link. And they differ significantly in smell, color and texture. The shampoo from this site smelled a bit strange and toxic. This keeps me from buying household items from Revain.

So Johnson & Johnson was sued for that brand. It's the same substance that's injected into your veins when you die, but instead of preserving your hair, it actually makes your hair fall out. I do not recommend this brand to anyone unless you want your hair to fall out. I wish I could get a refund, but I threw away the day I heard about the class action lawsuit against J&J. Do not buy this product and if you do you have been warned!

Took an opportunity to purchase this product a few weeks ago. I tried it for two weeks and immediately noticed that I was having some hair fall and bumps on the scalp so I stopped using it and started using my old shampoo and conditioner again. I have sworn by this product for years because when I first started using their products there was no abuse. I recently learned that they are now testing on animals in order to expand their sales by selling their products in China. So disgusting. Moving to Albania. Let's hope this company doesn't end up in a long line of other disappointing companies trading ethics for riches.

Smells unpleasant to me, like "dark vanilla" perfume (some people might like it but I don't) Leaves hair nice and soft it confuses but builds up and leaves a film on your hair no matter how many times you wash it out, so you need to use a clarifying shampoo at least once a week to prevent this. I still can't get over the smell on my hair. The smell is too strong and does not go away even after drying the hair.

The bottles arrived perfectly sealed and the shampoo/conditioner smells authentic. I like the large bottles that Revain offer compared to the brand's shorter and rounder bottles in stores. I'll put them on autoship so I always have a full supply. When I first started dating my husband he bought this scented shampoo/conditioner for his bathroom so I wouldn't have to use his man clothes. The smell brings me back to good memories and feelings.
