Great choice for the money but I'd like to see something that tells me what size drill bit to use for each size of rivet nut.

I spend my days working on my projects looking for a Nutsert/RivNut to replace an old screw. They simply look better and protect better.

The idea of using these items to mount into something other than sheet metal is getting silly. The use cases and imagination are great, but on my car, where I installed a lightbar in a fairly thick part of the roof, I change them all the time.

I already have the tools but need to replace the rivet nuts. They worked very well. They are good quality and a good size. I used #10 rivet nuts to mount the mirrors on my 67 Bronco and the attachment is better than the factory. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

I've used almost all the sizes that came with them and they all worked as intended. My only complaint is that there are no instructions on what size drill bit is needed for each insert size. Not all of them are made to the same specifications at all of the companies that make them. I have some of the earlier work that required a 19/64" hole to properly install a certain size insert. Used to attach the viewing window nut to the HB blast cabinet. Choose your drill wisely when using it. You will need bits of letters and numbers to properly size the hole. They are designed for AT LEAST .020 inch material. So don't use them unless you are that fat! Measure the SMOOTH part of the rivet nut, NOT the barbed part of the barrel.
