The price for 5 attachments was an important purchase criterion. The brush heads are harder than I prefer and I don't recall a rating for soft or hard bristles being mentioned. Also, they are thicker than I would like, which can affect the cleanliness of my teeth, which are very close together. I will be using these 5 for 12-15 months unless I find my teeth are not cleaning well enough. Nothing wrong with that, just a difference in my preferences.

If you don't have a Vitality toothbrush, get one. Your teeth will feel much better. My dentist recommended it to me and now I'm really scared of hiking as I can't take it with me! LOL My friend recently got a compliment on his teeth from his dentist (other than mine) and praised him for using Vitality. This is definitely an expensive toothbrush but to be honest it is 100% worth the money. We use dental floss as the standard brush head in our house, but the whitening buff cup is amazing too. A++

Tried soft round. Proven full head size manual toothbrushes with dual action movement (rectangular bottom top to bottom / and oscillating movement top). They both work. And yes, you also get around 6 months of service from them. Last year I ordered a Braun toothbrush along with replacement brush heads. They were for sensitive teeth. I reordered these floss heads. They are not for sensitive teeth or gums. But your gums will get used to it in about a week. Both sensitive tooth tips and dental floss tips do a good job of removing food particles stuck between teeth. This is a high quality and reliable Oral-B product, made in Germany. I've used this product several times over the past few years while trying to get used to it. I find the brushing experience with this product a bit harsh. However, using this brush head is NOT uncomfortable.
