Description of Oldboy Premium Ceramic Skateboard Bearings (608RS ZrO2 at 8 x 22 x 7 mm) - Perfect for Longboards, Quad Skates, Rollerblades, and Scooters!

SMOOTHER RIDE: Set of 8 Oldboy ceramic bearings are heavily lubricated to resist drag. Break them in with a few gnarly rides, then experience a new level of smooth. EXTENDED LIFE: Super hard ceramic balls (7) are pre-lubricated to reduce friction and prevent wear and tears. Perfect for slalom skating, bombing hills, or long-distance cruising. BETTER THAN STEEL: Don’t settle for metal bearings that promise a long spin time right out of the box, but are prone to rusting and are easily scratched by dirt. Oldboy ceramics are made with indestructible polished glass balls. No worry about rust or damage from dirt with ceramic balls. LUBE PROTECTED: Heavy lubrication prevents wear and tear, resists damage from water, and helps keep nylon bearing cage from cracking. No matter how fast and hard you ride, these bearings will let you perform like a pro. OLDBOY SWAG: You get TWO gnarly stickers inside every pyramid-power box (patent pending).

Non-Swiss ceramic bone quality at 1/2 price

Better than ceramic bone at around 1/2 price. Bones Swiss Pottery is still the gold standard (3 times more expensive). These bearings are way better than any other ceramic. Out of the box, I was able to scroll for about 2:34 seconds. I am confident that as with most pottery there will be a gradual improvement over the first 50 miles or so. The camp I can most closely compare this to is the Bone Swiss Big Six. really surpasses the properties of bone ceramics (not from Switzerland).

How smooth? suitable for ice skates, skateboards and scooters

I no longer press down on the floor, the floor now just rolls under me. two drops of bones, be careful with the shields, they fit well, but it's good. I didn't notice any light bone lube leaking out. Driving at night is so quiet it makes me feel like Batman. the bullets are pure white ceramic, but in the photo the bullets look like dark steel, the rating is fake.

Miles, miles and miles.

Those amazing things! I used to think my board was pretty slick but I put it on a set of Orangatang Kegel 80mm wheels and oh my god it just slides forever. In a flat, good harbor you can't get a bloody quarter mile off a good push. My wife's board has $20 bearings and after riding Oldboys for an hour I found her board absolutely unbearable. Today we rode 6 km and the amount of work she had to do compared to me was day and night, I hardly had to exert myself. We will get them for your board as…

Unsafe and didn't last more than one ride

During my second ride with these bearings, one on the outside of the rear wheel fell apart completely inside the wheel. The wheel was then allowed to slip part way off the axle before the nut engaged the second bearing on the inside of the wheel. The failure could be related to the use of plastic for the inner ring, which holds and keeps the balls on track inside the wheel. Carrier. Full metal bearings can be more stable. It was a catastrophic failure at high speed that could have resulted in…

Pretty good. on Bearings

Noticeably softer at first but after washing and greasing my Zealous Greens they are almost even. Mine also had a very disgusting noise similar to when bearings fail. They make a noise when they spin freely, but they still spin very well, even when they were new. Overall I don't regret the purchase. I wish they had rear guard as they get dirt sometimes. I thought it would be a cost saving method. I was tempted to buy again but I'm not entirely sure. At first there was a stark difference in…

The smoothest ride I've ever had!

Started riding in 1993. What would I know as a child? As I got older, I realized that chicks love skaters. High school was amazing thanks to my chalkboard. Fast forward - I'm 35 and thought figure skating would be a great way for my son and I to share something non-screen related. I haven't had a board in many years and figured I could get a good rig by coming back to this. My skills may be zero right now, but don't think I can't remember that cute butt ride. some raw stock. THIS is by far the…

Great company and great product!

First of all, this company has great customer service! I had a problem with one of the bearings and it was my fault. I sent them a photo and asked if I could buy a pair instead of buying the whole pack and Gary replaced my kit for free. So, yes, this review starts there. This is WOW customer service! Bearings - I put them on my electronic board and they are amazing. No noise, and you could tell by the feel and vibration of the ride that they were bad bearings. For the price they're charging…
