Not suitable for 76 CJ5

Simple. The part says it fits my car and it doesn't. The vent is in the wrong place, too thick for the existing clamps. It's all wrong.

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • So far so good

No, it is not a straight fit

This is not a straight fit on a 1977 Jeep CJ5, it cost me an additional $60 to fit. It was a short and the vent was in the wrong place. As written here on Revain. Fits your 1977 Jeep CJ5.

Pros
  • Belts, hoses and pulleys
Cons
  • Available in white only

Wrong Part - Hoses

I tried this hose which said it would work on a base 1977 Jeep CJ7 and it was clearly the wrong hose. This hose is widely advertised as fitting, but it doesn't even come close to fitting my Jeep. Maybe my Jeep has a smaller tank (maybe 15 gallons) than most and it's farther from the filler neck. The hose looks like a good hose, but it doesn't fit my car.

Pros
  • Hoses
Cons
  • Hard to tell
