Disappointing Antenna Performance for Computers

As a result of using this product, I found that the reception was not significantly improved. The pros of the design were unfortunately outweighed by the cons of low signal strength and minimal range. Additionally, the mounting instructions were confusing and cumbersome. It's frustrating to spend money and time on a product that doesn't live up to expectations.

If you use a MIMO router, you need 2 antennas.

I'm camping and I'm taking my Netgear MR1100 Cellular Router. When I get to remote locations where I'm on the fringes of reception, I use two of these to improve speed and reception. In areas with stable reception, I don't see an increase in bands, but I do see an increase in connection stability. This results in a higher speed overall. Better than expected but this is how it connects (no splitter needed)

I only bought this to have an external antenna so I can put my LTE modem away from the window. I didn't get it for any signal strength improvement other than this. However, I have found that I generally get an improved signal depending on how I connect it. I connected it to Teltonika RUTX11. When I connected it to the main and auxiliary antenna connectors with a splitter, the signal was exactly the same. I didn't care as again I wasn't looking for signal enhancement.
