O'Neill Women's Basic Skins UPF 50+ Long Sleeve Sun Shirt for Maximum Protection Review

Works as advertised. Protects me from the sun and is stylish. I'm 5ft 4in and 125lbs, ordered small. Does not tighten the skin.

These tops look great on a cool, windy day or under a wetsuit for cool-water activities. I love the SPF. Fit wise, I'm very petite (5ft 4in, 99lbs) but quite heavy on top - the small model stretches enough to fit perfectly and the wrists are snug enough not to ride up while swimming. bought two.

Great fit! I was a bit hesitant to go with O'Neil because I read some reviews on sizing. I'm 5ft 10" and 190lbs and the XLarge size fits me perfectly. I increased the size because I wouldn't wear it under a wetsuit but rather as sun protection for my tattoos when traveling abroad. The arms aren't too tight, which is great, and the black color is very flattering. I highly recommend this rashguard.

The perfect swim shirt. When I go to the pool with the kids in the summer, I can't put sunscreen on my back and shoulders. So I take off my regular sun visor and put it on to go in the water. That's great. It's like a bathing suit. This means they fit a bit tighter, so a medium size fits me as the size chart suggests. Also, the color of this blue is a bit deeper than in the picture, closer to purple. I love it.

So the shirt is nice and the quality is excellent, don't get me wrong. My only problem and that's MY PROBLEM lol I don't like how super tight it is, I usually wear a medium or large but I got this xL shirt hoping it would be a bit loose but no , it was still super tight . I understand it should be like that I think, but if you're looking for both protection and comfort I don't recommend this.

I wore this shirt when I went to Hawaii and also to the Bahamas. It is durable and very well made. The shirt fits snugly but doesn't feel like it's constricting. The sleeves were long for me, but I just rolled them up. When I went to Hawaii I was 5ft 4in, 200lbs and a size XL. I had lost about 30 pounds when I went to the Bahamas and it still fits just fine. I also have fair skin and this shirt was great for sun protection.

I used to have O'Neill rashguards and this one matches their great product. I usually wear medium or large in women's clothing (bra size 36C) so I bought XL (mainly because of the reviews posted) and it fits very well - not too loose, not too tight. The only drawback is that the color on the internet does not match the color of the rashguard that was sent to me in the mail. Although it's listed as "Fox Pink" I think it's more of a "Minnie Mouse" pink.

Please note that there are two versions of this rashguard and the offerings are almost identical! This is the "Slim Fit" version and it is not as tight as the other one (the other is "Performance Fit"). This one is much truer to size! I'm 5'2, 115 lbs. and the small size fits perfectly. It's comfortable (doesn't tighten the skin!) and I feel like it's a true "slim fit". It has a snug fit and is good for swimming/beach but not too tight.
