Easy and solid, minor room for improvement

Bought this for my 7 year old daughter and I. It is pretty easy to install the support brackets, and even easier to affix the actual bar, twist until it's tight enough and you're ready to go.Down side, no locking mechanism once it's tightened. So, a heavy person might end up spinning the bar a bit until your door frame is spread open a bit more.

Pros
  • Perfect.
Cons
  • May not provide enough variety for advanced workouts

Beast-mode bar, muscle up time!

This is a great product that saved me $$$.I weigh about 180 and this pull up bar is sturdy. It didn't budge. And holds up to 330 lbs. I wish this bar came with extra brackets to set up at different levels in my door frame. People say it'll hold without them but i just like the idea of super sturdy at all times. Whether i use this for dips or pushups or even Russian pullups. I'm surprised at the weight of the bar. Not flimsy and not cheap. One of my plastic black caps cracked due to screwing to…

Pros
  • Fits really well between closet door frame.
Cons
  • Can leave marks on door frame

Better than product description and images

As my headline states the product description and image do not accurately define what I received: absolutely better than expected. It is solidly constructed, heavy yet easy to adjust. Then end brackets are sturdy, came with all mounting screws and 2 internal black standoffs. One of the black internal bracket standoffs was broken upon delivery, contacted seller who sent me 2 replacement standoffs without hesitation even though I only needed 1.Attached to door frame and have no issues…

Pros
  • Great
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with certain medical conditions

Not safe unless you screw it into the doorframe

I bought this for a rental house I didn’t want to put the screws in the doorframe.I thought this would work for Stretching so I can bring it back home in the summer I could screw it in the door frames at home.but unfortunately it did not hold my hundred pound daughter she tried it first, so I don’t trust it to hold my 135 lbs weightI think it will work at home after I screw it to the doorframeSo I’m keeping it and only going to use it for sit ups and light Stretching for nowMy concern is that…

Pros
  • Stand corrected, very satisfied with product..:definitely a must have.
Cons
  • Requires strong screws to stay in place

Stable and sturdy pull-up bar

We have been using this bar for more than 8 months now. It has been pretty stable and sturdy. The installation was easy and it has held up really well.My kid has used this to support a trapeze swing as shown in the pic, it has been functional and served the purpose really well. Would definitely recommend this product.

Pros
  • One of the best pull up bars I’ve owned.
Cons
  • It slips off a lot and breaks all my door frames.

Not as sturdy as advertised

I purchased this product looking for a pull up bar that I could use without drilling into a door frame since I travel for work. I was unable to get the tension strong enough to hold my weight, so I returned it. It may work well if you use the extra support that comes with the bar.

Pros
  • Simple, fast and easy. Love it
Cons
  • May not provide enough clearance for tall individuals

Do yourself a favor and buy one!

Very versatile heavy duty piece of workout equipment. A must have for exercise or anyone with chronic back and shoulder pain. Mounts in a variety of doorframes and feels very secure! My favorite "weight machine" yet! Seeing how many pull-ups/chin-ups or other things you can do gets addicting. 100% 5 Stars

Pros
  • My Son loves this -
Cons
  • May not be compatible with some exercise routines

Great door jam best in my review

Great quality, easy to install even for a dunce like me, but make sure you're paying attention because I was wondering why it wasn't getting harder to tighten, turns out it was pushing the door frame apart, again great product just make sure you're paying attention

Pros
  • Good but it drop when lose over time..must use wrench to secure frequently before use.....
Cons
  • Could not adjust one end as it would not unscrew.
