Cable lock Confidence

This product met my expectations. I only use it on campus but I don't have to worry about the keys to unlock this, it's perfect.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Upgrades available

Good economic castle. There is room to grow.

Good return. Better, of course, thanks to the cable lock. I love the combination, not the amplification of the key. The only complaint is that the end cap on the side you turn to install your code falls off very easily to the point where I just removed it so it doesn't pop out when in the bracket was holstered.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Pros: -No keys! - Seems strong. Disadvantages

Advantages: -No keys! -Seems strong Cons: -Locks on one side only. On the other side is hook J. I have to check it 2 or 3 times to make sure it's really locked. It often appears to be locked without the locking mechanism actually engaging. This means anyone can take it apart. - Difficult! (Part of being strong I guess).

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • Crumpled

Very fragile body!

Great lock! Easy to open without a key. Wide and long enough to attach the front wheel and frame to a bike rack or sign. The only problem in this case. It is made of fragile plastic. When trying to lock your bike. Once I fell from the height of a bicycle seat onto the pavement and the housing broke. A large piece broke off, and luckily I had superglue on hand.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Weight

Reliable safety and good quality

The cable is good, thick and sheathed. The lock itself is very secure. I have a few of these that I use when camping to lock my grill and other valuables around camp. Also use it to lock my trailer and UTV in storage. My only complaint is that when you take the lock apart it's not very obvious which way it's supposed to go. You end up trying to block it a few times. Otherwise highly recommended!

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Short instructions

Warning: Well built but not very easy to carry

This is a big, heavy, well built bike lock. I didn't know how big it was when I ordered. I find it impractical to carry such a locking system on a bike. The two mounting positions given in the instructions just don't work for me. I had to send it back immediately after opening the shipping box. Instead I opened the package (which had to be ripped open) to see how the lock would fit/install on my bike. Now I can't return it. Everyone wants a cheap $42 bike lock. lol

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • So so

Great lock, no keys!

Bought this for my girlfriend when she started cycling regularly, looks like just an updated version of what I've had for a long time. Very durable, the only complaint I can think of is that it's a bit small for some bikes, but we've rarely had any problems with locking. The cord is very, very handy for wrapping around a rear tire or frame, especially if what you're tying to isn't very comfortable. The whole thing is covered with a soft material, so don't worry about the paint being scratched…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Secure lock missing a few touches

I've been using this lock a few days a week in a big city in the US for the last 2 years, the last 6 months of that on a nice bike I bought new. It seems very strong and secure and nobody has messed with the lock. It's also pretty convenient to carry around on a bike frame, making it more likely I'll have and use it. However, this has caused me some enduring frustrations: 1) Most of the time I can use a U-lock to secure the frame and front wheel to the bike ring. It's not wide enough to secure…

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive
