Seems to be of good quality

I always try to buy US made items and they come from China but they seem to be of good quality. I bought them for a wagon where I installed and coiled an air compressor hose. All four swivel so they position themselves well on uneven surfaces, and when you engage the locks they not only prevent the wheels from rolling but also from turning. Again, this works well on my rough road - the cart is stable and doesn't slip when pulling and retracting the compressor hose. The wheels are heavy, they…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Rolls solid, maybe 2 rides

I bought these to attach to a 412 guitar cabinet, they were relatively easy to attach. They were kept stationary and moved several times during normal loading and unloading. At this point, the stem that the bike is attached to flexes so much that the bearings begin to fall out or simply break off. This is actually my second set of them as I was hoping the Revain reviews would be generally correct but I've currently failed 3 out of 8 of them and the rest are on the way as they have plenty or…

These videos are total crap!

I ordered some of these casters as I wanted to put the shelves on a wooden platform with casters and move the shelves to clean underneath etc. It took about 6 months to install the casters. I wasn't immediately excited about them after they were installed because they didn't roll smoothly after installation and some items were left on the shelves. I specifically chose these casters due to the 800+ lb rating, note the cradle can support 300lbs (and there are 4 casters attached to the wooden…

Cheap but not very good

I had them modified with a precision swivel so I didn't care how good the original swivel was. However, they seem to spin easily, and the brake is the way to go. However, I had to take it apart to do the modification and in doing so I found that the wheel bearings on all four wheels were in terrible shape. Your dust shield is curved, as if the bearings are being pressed into the wheels and pressing against the shield. So most bearings were rough or tight. It hardly twists by hand and holds onto

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Almost never

Probably good for occasional home use, bad for steering

I bought four sets of 4 inch caster wheels for use with little used travel cases and a production video stand. Almost immediately 2 out of 4 sets started spinning very badly and now it takes two people to steer the crate properly. I've used a lot of casters and apart from the occasional bump or crash, I've only ever had issues with wheels literally falling apart or peeling. We are based in Orlando. , Florida, so they spend most of their lives in extreme heat without air conditioning, but we…

Great price - compared to hardware stores

This summer I made three mobile carts for my woodworking shop using lumber and hardware from the local Orange Home Center. I paid $8.98 for each 175 lb 3" caster with parking brake (and swivel). Weight limit. It's $35.92 for a set of four plus tax. I just completed another wooden cart and need to build another one so have I bought two sets of 4 sets of 3" locking casters (and swivel) from Best Service online valued at £250. Weight limit. Each pack of four casters is $23.99 or $6 per caster plus

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Almost ok
