This is a great rug, especially considering the price. This medium sized rug is large enough to cover most of my coffee table where I fix everything from phones, consoles, laptops, PCs, lighters, guitars and everything in between. I bought this to use as an electronics repair mat. I often repair laptops/TVs/etc. and needed a soft pad so I wouldn't scratch the cases or whatever when I move them around. They're great for that. The surface consists mainly of small foam bubbles, which are very soft and non-slip.
