Not bad. My driver doesn't read very well, but other clubs read well.

Good simulator. My friend brought his Skytrak to compare, optishot2 did well. He didn't believe that because he paid about $2,000 for his. It's hard to set up, but it's possible. I like that it shows the stick's face on impact. If you're hitting balls, you really should be using a tee. If you don't do this, the pad will leave a green stain on the ball that is quite difficult, if not impossible, to remove. So you don't want to use good golf balls on the mat. It doesn't read my TaylorMade R9โ€ฆ

Review of Optishot 2 after purchasing SkyTrak

I've only had Optishot2 for a few days and am very happy with it. I used to have a SkyTrak unit and found it overly complicated compared to the Optishot. Optishot Highlights: 1) Quick and easy setup 2) Simplicity 3) Reads every shot (at least for me) 4) Can use foam or real balls 5) Trajectory, pace, club surface, swing speed feedback 6) Includes 15 courses7) Doesn Don't put too much strain on your laptop (SkyTrak problem - and I have a laptop beast) 8) Portability 10) Good driving range 11)โ€ฆ

$30 refund if sensors randomly stop working.

I've been using OPtiShot for over a year and I'm very disappointed with the product. It was initially great to get feedback when hitting a golf ball in my garage, but be aware that it doesn't indicate whether the ball was hit thin or thick. In addition, you can manipulate the speed and turning distance in the settings. So it's up to you how honestly you save your settings. The software is decent for the price, but a little more detail would certainly help it feel more realistic. will no longerโ€ฆ

Entertainment for money, not to improve your swing.

All in all, for the price, it's nice to be able to play a round of golf in your garage on a cold, rainy day in the Pacific Northwest. For the most part I agree with most of the reviews here, but I'd like to add a few things that I didn't mention. When you hit the ball the optimizer is a hard transition, unlike real grass it has almost no bounce so most of the time it slows your turning speed by 5-15 mph and your shot is short. 2. Most modern drivers do not work. Infrared sensors need a shinyโ€ฆ

Affordable golf simulator with some notable flaws

What I like about the Optishot is that it's a lot cheaper than most machines, I can use it indoors with foam balls, it doesn't take up much space and t requires one subscription fee. Hitting real balls indoors just isn't an option for me. The downside is that it doesn't actually measure the flight of the ball, but only estimates it based on the racquet used, the trajectory of the swing and the speed of the racquet head, which is measured by rows of sensors several inches apart. behind and inโ€ฆ

After 4 years I love this golf simulator!

Here's an overview of the Optishot 2 golf simulator and, more importantly, a few tips that first-time users won't realize if they can't find this information on the forums. Firstly, I really like this golf simulator. I've been using it for 4 years now and play at least 18 holes every day. For the first few years, my uncle, who is a pretty good golfer, kept asking me if this simulator would translate to real golf. After playing on Optishot for 2 years we had Topgolf open where I live and in just
