Very reflective: scrapbooking and stamping

It's really thin so be careful when weeding. I've added two photos showing my project during the day and then in the dark. It's very reflective and holds up well. I love the copy paper that comes with it.

Pros
  • Easy to apply
Cons
  • String is shorter than other picks

Well managed product!

This material is very easy to weed (take your time). It reflects brightly and looks more like lead paint from a certain angle. But it looks black. . Almost opalescent when opened. Delivery was fine. Not super fast but on time and on time. . i buy more PS before posting, it sticks! When it's stuck. Don't open!

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Waiting too long

Just what I need for my helmet

Received this to add a reflector to my helmet but didn't want it to be the right size to see through. This is for the account. It's wrapped too tightly so it doesn't lay flat on the mat as others have said, but working with small areas worked. Make sure you use metal vinyl settings or it won't cut through. Not bad but not amazing, does what I need

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Very expensive

Easy to use, nice reflective effect

We wanted reflective numbers on our mailbox. Our numbers are oil bronze so the black foil fits well and doesn't stand out during the day. We used a heat gun as extra insurance to make sure the film would stick, but it wasn't necessary. Even on our relatively thin/narrow numbers there are still a lot of reflections at night.

Do not use for detailed projects!

I bought this to make stickers with a monogram and an address for our mailbox. I had to give it up and use regular black vinyl. This vinyl is the worst I've ever worked with for weeding; It is brittle, tears like paper, does not adhere well to substrates, stretches and blisters, and does not cut well. I've had better luck with vinyl from an unknown brand. I expected more from ORACAL!

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Fragile and resistant to detail, but accessible and manageable

With the new extra thin blade in my Cricut Explore 2 with Paper+ and Vinyl settings, it easily cuts through the vinyl, but I found this vinyl a bit too hard brittle for mine usually complex designs, but works well with simple designs. The reflection effect is a bit tricky as it has to be at a certain angle to the visible light. However, for the price it offers, I believe this is the most economical way a DIY enthusiast can get and enjoy reflective vinyl backing.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some small things

Less than impressed

I know reviews can be random so I took a chance. To be honest, I'm less than impressed. As you can see in one picture, she weeded terribly. I'm a very skilled craftsman and used my Cricut Maker to apply a lot of pressure to the exterior of the vinyl, but it still didn't cut through enough. I had to use a razor to cut a few spots to prevent tearing (had to redo the 3rd entirely). I would suggest trying a glossy vinyl setting. The roll was wound very tightly so it wrinkled slightly when trying to

Rolled up so tight that if you try to use it, it becomes unusable.

Waste of money. Its 12x14" format is sold by name for desktop cutters that use a flat backing card. When you unroll this TIGHTLY curled sheet, it crumples and makes it almost unusable. I ordered 3 colors to start with. So $60, I have to find a way not to throw it away. You could try warming it up in the sun before unwrapping it.To use the piece I tried in the photo I peeled the vinyl off the backing and reapplied it , by making it smooth I Promotions: Just like you would apply a pre-made decal…

Pros
  • Inspires trust
Cons
  • Not fashionable
