🟠 Garmin Alpha 100 Handheld Orange Gizzmo Vest - USA Manufactured Review

Gizzmo vest fits and works well. The included strap is too short to wear around my neck so I bought a cord and replaced it with a longer one.

It's protective and I like that it helps me attach the tracker to my clothing, but I'm having a hard time getting the on - Pressing the on/off button and wish I could so you can charge it without removing the case.

Very durable and favorite color l. Fits perfectly on my Garmin. The only downside is that you have to take it off completely to charge your Garmin. But otherwise my Garmin is perfect.

Exactly what it says on the tin. It is easy to open and the clip is strong enough. The paracord used to close is also a good dummy cord. One thing that wasn't obvious was that the Astro had to be removed to charge. To do this, two sliders must be moved along the paracord and then the housing opened.

I almost lost my Alpha handheld in the woods. Since I bought this, I'm not worried about the device breaking or falling off me. I would advise getting a good quality carabiner though as the plastic clip that goes on the paracord is all plastic and would probably be a game changer if that was the only thing holding it.

The strap is a few inches shorter - when wrapped around the wrist there is not enough slack for manual operation of the Alpha 100. There is a notch on the case above the power button. Turning the device on/off can be done simply by replacing this cover by pressing on the indicated notch.
