cheaply made: my feedback

After 1 week of using the hose connection broke apart where hose connects into plastic ring end.Very cheap made connections

Good buy sprayer and nozzle cheap plastic

The production ct is very convenient. Strong retraction action. The only thing I dislike are the nozzles. Very flimsy and feels extremely cheap. The spray head won’t stay on at all.

Ok for outside. In the garage.maybe not.

The hose connection leaks. I have tried both Teflon tap and pipe "dope”. I bought it for the hose connection in my garage but am unable to leave it hooked up due to the leak.

Handle pops off. Hose wildly swings back into place if it slips.

I had liked the concept of this retractable hose. You can hang it and connect it, but my main problem with this which is the most important part is the cheaply made hose handle and connection.The hose handle easily just snaps right off and you get a big splash and gush of water from the hose while your handle goes flying. Cheaply made in my review

I wanted to buy another HOMCOM retractable hose but they are unavailable so I went with this product. Not real happy with it. The winding retractable mechanism is wound too tight end it doesn’t release easily either. I did not mount this one and that is where the problem lies I do not want to mount it this time. It may work better for anyone that is going to mount it. Bottom line in my opinion,it’s not made very well for the price

Designed well, however seems to be made very cheap. Thanks for attention. Using it you want to be careful, feels like it would break very easy.

Cheap made product good for me

This looked like it had already been opened and returned once. Everything was shoved in the box. When I finally got it hooked up it leaked everywhere. I checked to make sure the rubber washers were present, which they were. Tightened everything again and it still leaked. Returned it the next day.

Will need to replace sprayer after 1 year

We bought this hose less than a year ago and the handle of the sprayer has broken several times in different areas. The first two times it was the metal piece that holds the sprayer in the spraying position for you, which my husband was able to fix. Unfortunately this past break was a piece that holds the squeeze handle to the nozzle and it can’t be fixed. Unable to use the sprayer now. :( It is so sad because this hose is very convenient and the sprayer has so many options.

I plugged in the hose reel and it leaks inside the plastic housing.I bought a better reel from ace hardware and it does not leak.

Retraction Feature Non Functional

While this seemed like a wonderful product initially, within a few weeks of use, the retraction feature broke.actually not sure it broke, it is just too sensitive. Once the hose has been pulled out a ways, the 'stop' will hold the hose at that length, supposedly until you pull it again, then it will retract. Unfortunately, ANY movement causes the 'stop' to withdraw and pull the hose back in. Even the motion of the water flowing through the hose is enough to cause the hose to start to retract…

Compact and low profile

Needed a small low profile water-hose housing. The HOA prohibits visible attachments to my townhome. The housing is smaller and fit discreetly behind the shrubs. It works well and keeps the water hose tangle free.

Efficient Hose Storage

Based on my observations, this wall-mounted hose reel is a great addition to my garden cleaning tools. It delivers an adjustable nozzle and an automatic rewind system packed with a 66ft hose. The 180° swivel bracket allows easy and comfortable movement as I water my plants in different directions. On the reverse, the nozzle holder seems a bit flimsy and might cause a minor inconvenience when changing nozzles.

Love this thing it works great!

I haven’t used it a lot but the times I have I love it! It detracts like it should and comes with 2 spray nozzles that are quick release and don’t have to be screwed on and off each time. A good hose cost almost as much as this does so why not treat yourself?

Warning - Lower water flow rate than a standard garden hose

I didn't purchase this because I saw it's a 3/8" hose so I can't speak for it's quality or use. Be aware that standard US garden hoses are 5/8" diameter. This means that the maximum water flow of this hose will be substantially lower than a standard garden hose. At typical home water pressure, a 5/8" garden hose will have 12-14 Gallons Per Minute flow. This 3/8" hose will only have 2.6-3.4 Gallons Per Minute flow due to the hose's narrow diameter.
