Works well, requires a driver

There are many Bluetooth 5.0 dongles with the same Realtek chipset. This one was the cheapest and worked, but it didn't connect and worked like Bluetooth 4.0 dongles. Note that I have not tested the range, but it is interesting that the range of this key is stated as 20MB, while Edimax, with the same chipset, states 40MB.

Pros
  • Not only useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Company drivers are important! They're also hard to find!

My Bluetooth wireless keyboard finally works with it. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars? Initially, it was difficult to find both the company's website and the required wireless driver (BTA-508). I'm pretty good at these things. Not in this case. It took me at least 2 attempts. An ordinary person will either not understand that drivers are needed for this, or he will be able to find them all at once. Otherwise, Revane will just get it back! Oriko, it's not "(Need Drive)"! It (Need Driver)!

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • No paint required

It wasn't plug and play for me as I had to install the driver from the Orico website (BTA-508 as stated in other reviews) but the installation was easy and successful which is not to be taken for granted is third-party driver. Just download it, extract the RAR file with 7-Zip, open the exe file, go through the setup and you're done. Most likely Windows does not support Plug and Play as the driver appears to be a regular Realtek driver. . It is surprising that Microsoft has still not integrated…

Works as it should. Very easy to install. Good guide.

First of all I want to say something that bothered me. The included printed manual is too small to be useful. However, when downloading the drivers, a file appears with an extended "manual" which is very easy to read and follow. I had no trouble installing the adapter and pairing devices with it. They sound good with Realtek drivers and range is comfortable so far. The only thing I noticed was the lack of comforting flashing lights! I know most aren't really tied to anything functional. There…

Not plug and play directly with Win 10

Plugged in, Windows automatically loaded Bluetooth drivers but nothing worked. He found nothing and nothing could find him. So definitely not a plug and play device. Then I looked at the crappy chinese instructions and had to go to the crappy chinese website, download the crappy driver zip file and do the crappy installation of other crappy bluetooth drivers. After a reboot it seems to be working now. Although with a fresh driver install I wonder what kind of crappy spyware got installed as…
