High-Performance Origin8 Single-Ring Chainring Bolts for Optimal Cycling Performance Review

Converts from 3x9 to 1x9. The original bolts were too long as they were used to attach the two chainrings to the crank, in my case 32T and 44T. Use these bolts to attach a 36t FSA sprocket to the crank. Fits perfectly! There is even a spare bolt as the Shimano crank uses 4 bolts and the kit comes with 5. Absolutely to suggest!

I ended up using my original bolts from the 3x kit and their 'nuts'. The original bolts were longer and could fit further and more securely into the nut. These bolts will work, but they only thread about 2 threads into the nuts. Used their "bolted" part to screw them into the unused bolt holes in the connecting rod to keep dirt out.

These are bolts with a chainring. They work. A description might be helpful. Use these single bolts for either one ring cranksets or the inner (small link) for three ring cranksets. They come with nuts which are needed for single sprockets but not for triple chain inner rings. For most trebles, use double bolts for the two large chainrings.

Used these to fit a SRAM 40T X-Sync ring (1x) on an FSA Gossamer (2x) crankset on my CX -Bike to install. Works great, looks good and holds securely. I had to use a flathead screwdriver on the back of the screws to hold them still while I tightened the screws. A double hex (6mm/5mm) which I have seen on some other screws would be better.
