good things in cycling

Large size: not too wide, not too narrow. They require bar end caps with a very narrow profile to fit the ends of the bar. (ODI makes some of these that work great). Unless you use handles that cover the ends of the neck.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Good wheels for the price.

I bought these bars to replace some of the megaphones on my friend's Wabi road bike. The stem size is 26.0mm, but these bars fit well. I paired them with purple Retrospec Bicycles Urban/Fixed Gear grips and they look great. Width and height appear perfect to her.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Available in black only.

Approved by Professional Bike Mechanic

I have fitted these handlebars to countless bikes for my family and clients throughout the year. I prefer them over other brands because they are not as wide. Most "urban risers" are too wide to be used as a commuter bike on the road. This is great because you don't have to trim them. I always pair them with Oury Grips for a decent commuter bike.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Safety

Good product, read the description carefully

It is exactly as described in the listing. However, make sure you measure your needs carefully before ordering as this is a very short handlebar. A full two inches shorter than the straight mountain bike handlebars I replace. Difficult to attach shifters, brakes, knobs, mirrors, etc. It's a glossy black finish that you may or may not like. Looks sturdy and will likely last a long time.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Bar Taper - Handlebar

Handlebars taper from 31.8mm at the stem clamp to 25.4mm at the ends. This means you need to make sure you have the right size brake levers/switches for them to work properly. Seems small but it makes replacing perfectly good levers a real hassle and adding that info to the list would be very easy. However, real bars are amazing and I really enjoy riding them.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Nice looking handlebar and solid.

I installed them on my Fuji Adventure and they look great and the sweep should improve comfort on trails. I've read elsewhere that they were too wide, but after installing controls and knobs I didn't find them wide. They look fit for purpose. I'm not (hopefully) afraid of cars or trees, so overall a great product. Haven't scratched them yet so they seem to be very durable.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are flaws

The necks look very good and are within the stated weight range

The necks look very good and are within the stated weight range. 5 stars because they are crisp, light and cheap. Just note that most rods are 4-6 inches longer when weighed, so the weight savings after trimming may not be as great. They are 1-2 inches narrower than I actually wanted, but I knew that before I bought them. . However, you still have plenty of flat surface area to mount sticks, brakes, etc. Significantly more room than some of the wider, lower-travel bars I have.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not the best

Great handlebar, top fit and finish

Great handlebar, top fit and finish. Other customers who complain about the incorrect 25.4 yoke diameter don't think their stem is to blame. I fitted this handlebar to three different stems and found that one of the three stems was maybe a millimeter off. It's easy to assume and blame a product without considering other reasons. I'm happy with the width, 22 inches is a bit wider for me on my fixed gear. My shoulder width is 42mm so I cut 2.5 inches on each side. I couldn't be happier Life isโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Decent performance

  • Some cons

Neat steering wheel - Attention vintage road lovers

I am very happy with the chrome finish of the steering wheel I bought. The graphics are lasered onto aluminum but don't really stand out. The handlebars are quite thick and offer excellent stability on my commuter train. My '88 Dave Scott Centurion has derailleurs on the down tube. I simply cut 30mm off each side of the handlebars, leaving room for the grips and brake levers. The handlebar extends to 25.4mm as it makes the first bend from the grip area to the center. Because of this camber andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Crumpled
