Bought to use in checked baggage - and it worked like a charm. I started out with a plastic bag over the top and strategically placed soft clothes for extra padding. Since then I've found that I can put it anywhere (within reason) and feel safe and secure. Not to be evaluated from the point of view of temperature maintenance.

My friend bought one of these from Target when it was on sale and she used it for her everyday water bottle. I thought it was a great idea. While it's not quite the same with a clip on top that attaches to any bag, I found it worked great on a 32-ounce Contigo water bottle and stayed cooler for longer, especially this summer. I would buy this again.

Perfect for a bottle of wine or a 40 oz clear canteen. It's bigger than a clear bottle so you have to fold the sides to drink from it, but it's a great way to keep condensation from forming in my bag. The carrying handles are large. They make folding, carrying and cutting easier. It can't be compared to a vacuum insulated bottle, but it makes a noticeable difference in water/wine temperature.
