Perfect for a bottle of wine or a 40 oz clear canteen. It's bigger than a clear bottle so you have to fold the sides to drink from it, but it's a great way to keep condensation from forming in my bag. The carrying handles are large. They make folding, carrying and cutting easier. It can't be compared to a vacuum insulated bottle, but it makes a noticeable difference in water/wine temperature. I've read several complaints about the rounded bottom. I disagree, the design allows it to fit a variety of bottle sizes well. As long as the bottle is not empty, it stands without any problems. It's well sewn and thank God it doesn't smell like an old wetsuit :p
