Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can confidently say that this switch is a waste of money. The fact that it failed to function when I needed it to was not only frustrating, but also dangerous. The only positive aspect was the ease of installation that saved me a few minutes. However, I'd rather spend a little more on a reliable switch than risk my safety again.

Works, goes into park but doesn't light up until I get under the van and flip the switch. After a few months I had to put it in reverse and back into park to get it to start. I think it needs to be replaced by Acdelco.

I am trying to buy all Revain car parts. They are typically 25-50% cheaper for the same products or better than those sold at local auto parts stores. 8824 fits without problems. The truck switches, starts and lights up the taillights with no problems! For your information. If you are replacing it because it has failed, be very careful when removing the old seat belts.
