Description of πŸš€ Optimize Performance: Original Engine Management 99035 Throttle Position Sensor

Throttle Position Sensors are calibrated to have same output characteristics throughout the rotational range of operation. Throttle Position Sensors maintain specific installed outputs to match OE rather than adjustable consolidated designs. Circuits are printed on flexible polyimide film or ceramic-based substrates for excellent dimensional stability preventing electrical performance drift. High-impact composite O.E.-style housing. Special-design resistive element for extended life.

Works perfectly. As advertised.

Great working product. Exactly as advertised. Fixed issues I had with my F150. Don't pay anyone hundreds of dollars for literally the simplest solution.

Not for my car.: Throttle position

Will not fit properly on my 1992 Mercury Grand Marquis LS even though the info said it would. Because of this, the engine almost didn't work. I had to install the old one. The old one may need to be replaced, but at least I can get the car running.

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Obsolete model

DO NOT RECOMMEND BUY, BUY GENUINE OEM.

Strongly do not recommend buying this. I bought it for a 2000 Mustang and it worked pretty well, but for some reason the transmission stopped shifting gears. I was going to buy a new gearbox but then I took it to the mechanic and surprisingly they found the problem and it was this. waste of money. Waist of the time, buy the original. I bought a Ford OEM, now everything works. By the way, the original cost about the same.

Pros
  • Throttle position
Cons
  • poorly thought out
