The lifespan of this product is below standard

The lifespan of this product is below standard The McKinsey brand does not always sell good products. Less than a month after purchase, the strap broke and the fabric tore. I had to do without this product. I will never buy this product again.

Pros
  • A good product for its price
Cons
  • Upgradable

It's a really good size if you just need "something " and .

This is a really good size if you just need a "little thing" and don't want to get the log stuck in your lower back, but personally it's too difficult for me. I thought it would be good when I took it out of the box because it seems to be compressible, but when I leaned against it it was more "logged". If it was memory foam rather than regular foam, it would probably be better for me. Just know that it is indeed quite solid.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • There are problems

Amazing for back, neck and shoulder support

Amazing for the inside of my Honda Oddysey! When my PT recommended this product, I was a little hesitant. I'm a bit young to need pillows! But with a 30-minute commute and a sedentary job, relieving my lower back pain seemed worth it. It helps a lot. I also have a similar product for my desk but it was perfect for my car which has lumbar support but not enough. The all-rounder was too big for my car seat and found a new home with a partially disabled relative who uses it on her much softerโ€ฆ

Life saver for office chair posture

I bought this lumbar support together with the original role. I found the throw "too big" while giving me just the support I needed. I have chronic back pain from sitting in an office chair at work. It helps my posture a lot. It takes some getting used to and you have to be sure to position it properly on your back to really feel any benefit. I wore it too low on my back and found it very uncomfortable. The strap fits perfectly on the back of my office chair and I can adjust it very easily. Iโ€ฆ

Comfortable and well designed

So far I am happy with this pillow. I use it in my car while driving. I only gave it 4 stars because it feels too thick, but I don't have to slide the seat back like I did with another pillow I've tried. I have a long journey ahead of me in a few weeks and can't wait to see how it works. I usually have trouble driving for long periods due to fatigue/pain in my back and shoulders. I think this will help with this problem. This is a well made pillow and it doesn't look like it will shrinkโ€ฆ

Not strong enough for lumbar supports

Well designed and built. Holds securely to my office chair and doesn't slip. This is the second one I own. After many years, the rubber band was the first to stretch, so I replaced it. However, the replacement feels more compressible (squishy) than the first one I had. When I lean on it, it compresses to less than 1 inch thick, which is insufficient for lumbar support. If the foam was harder and less compressible I would give it 5 stars. Update October 2017: I recently purchased OPTP's Original

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Working speed

This version does not have velcro and the strap does not attach to the back of the chair. I have to rearrange it every time I sit down to use it. However, it offers good back support. Another version (Original McKenzie Super Roll by OPTP (708)) is slightly less curved but has velcro and stays in place. I bought my first Super Roll in 2009 and still use it often. I've since bought two more and have been using them almost every day since (no straps, velcro keeps them in place). This SlimLine isโ€ฆ

Doesn't fit well in the car seat. It's pretty soft, but better than nothing

I need a car seat. If you look at the photo of the girl on the packaging, she doesn't even lean against it! If she did, she would have been crushed. Just look at the pictures and you will understand why it doesn't work in a car. It looks silly as there is space between the seat when buckled and it moves when you sit down. I can only pay about $250 and put a lumbar support in the seat. This is better for a standard chair. Or maybe I use it in the passenger seat. When you get up you will see itโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Negative impression

i really like it in Medical Supplies and Equipment

I have this in my car, the sides of my seats curve like the Recaro racing seat design, they don't curve that much but you get the idea. When tied to my car kit and not getting in it doesn't seem to fit well, it doesn't touch the seat due to the side supports on the car seat, as soon as I recline it it presses against the seat and I can sit in my car seats with my back twisted. I can't normally sit in my car seat with my back turned out, this keeps my back in a good position in these seats andโ€ฆ
