Used several times a week and never left a scratch.

Others say that the product makes an unpleasant squeak when in use. That's right. However, it doesn't scratch my car's paintwork and I'm obsessed with the smallest, barely noticeable scratch on my new car. You're more likely to get a scratch just from washing your car than you ever will be. Heck, you're more likely to get scratches just from driving. I think some people don't realize that silicone rubbing water against a painted metal surface creates a high pitched squeak.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Why didn't I use one of these sooner?

Before purchasing I watched a few online videos showing how to use them and some comments from various vlogs. Some discouraged their use, saying they could be used to draw objects over the car's paintwork. My answer to that would be, if after washing and rinsing the car there is a significant amount of residue left in it that could damage the paint/finish, you probably didn't wash the car properly at all. There was no problem removing water droplets from the car with this scraper. After that…

The best water remover on the market

This is the second water blade I have bought in the last few years and I am very pleased with the initial and consistent performance of these nifty little devices! My first Water Blade, bought about 10 years ago, looks and works exactly like my new one. Although there is a small shock absorber in the front, they will last a very long time if you take care of them. We have one in every car and use it to clean wet windows, remove leaves and grime from paintwork and quickly dry the exterior after…

Detailed Description

NOT MY FAVORITE BUT OK. This was my second. The fist was made of stainless steel, quite attractive and classy in my soul. HOWEVER, I felt the SS was probably scratching my new $800 glass shower door. NO WAY! I returned it and bought this rubber/silicone/a scraper. WOW. Can you imagine WIN in these puppies?! I keep it because returns are a pain BUT: it's noisy when applied to the glass like it's not a smooth roller and I followed the directions not to press hard. It's also too wide. I bought a…

Should have bought it many years ago

Never used this product. I've had synthetic suede items and all manner of towels and rags over the years I believe. Never wipe straight. The blade is very soft and flexible. The handle is comfortable to use. The T-shape seems designed to wipe away water by fully flexing the blade. It requires very little pressure as the blade is very soft. It's pretty straight forward. Start on the roof and work your way down. Once you've got all the big flat surfaces like the hood, roof, truck, doors, and…
