It's like thick light round cakes. my dog loves it Just break off a piece and crush it with your hands. Excellent packaging. Seals well. I will reorder.

Seems like a good alternative on days when I can't prepare fresh food for my dog. The only complaint is that while you have to crumble them before adding the water, you have to be very careful as there are little bits of bone and stuff in there. My fingers were pierced without knowing anything.

My dogs are now begging every time I go into the pantry. I give them freeze dried food once a week as a treat and supplement to their regular dry food that I reserve for free feeding. In order to absorb water, you have to stir a lot. I usually just try to break the medallions into a few small pieces and make sure the water gets on all the pieces when I stir.

My dog has been eating them for years. Suddenly the formula changed in November 2019 and she started having stomach pains, her anal glands were full on a daily basis and her butt was moving everywhere — which had never happened before. I stopped feeding her and her problem stopped. I feel so bad for suddenly stopping her freeze dried food because she loves it as a treat.

Our cavalier loves this food. It's expensive, but she absorbs it, which her previous meals haven't. Our only complaint, which isn't their fault as it often happens, is that a lot of the medicines were broken. She takes two medications with one meal, so it's harder for her to get the exact dose when they're broken. However, the price was competitive and the item arrived on time.

Love it! The ingredients are great. My dog has become very picky about food after I recently spoiled him by putting diced chicken in his food. She doesn't eat anymore. We buy higher quality dog food for our dogs and yet she won't touch wet/dry dog food. Then I ordered Orijen after I found out about it. She LOVES it and will watch me cook her food.

This food is great for walking dogs as it is very light and mixing it with water helps them retain extra moisture. At home he has never been interested in morning food, but these things get him very excited. I feed him a little less than recommended for his size as he is not that active at home. Lockets crumble easily, so be careful when transporting or storing your bag. The odor is strong when water is added but it quickly dissipates once my pup eats his food. Very happy with this meal.

This has to be an amazing product. If you buy it in the store, there is a very pleasant smell of sweet pastries. I first bought it from Revain - just for convenience - the price isn't much different than in store - but when I opened the bag there was a strong rancid smell. It's pretty awful even though the expiry date isn't until next year. I'm wondering if the seller's storage or transportation methods keep a decent temperature or the product can get very hot. The bag needs to be returned but…
