Sharpens well

This is my first reusable sharpening knife but I have a lot of experience with all kinds of knives and chisels. . Out of the box it was relatively sharp but it required a tedious effort, thicker botanicals Grinding in a tan and it could pull and tear on thinner leather After about twenty minutes with my 1000/5000 Splash and Go bricks and a leather belt on both bevels and smoothing/polishing the cutting edge of the back it's capable of a good to hold polished edge that can grind the thinnest…

Grinding required

CS Osborne tools have always been hit or miss for me. It was a bit of an accident. The blade is made of quality steel and appears well hardened. Pros
  • βœ… Round bevel, manual grinding.
Cons
  • I can't remember but there was something

No problem, a little time, a set of stones, a good treatment with jewel rouge and a sling and now I have a neat edge with a good polish. How much is your time worth and how good are your sharpening skills? Second, the grip does not feel smooth and rough. I sanded it, oiled it, then washed it and redid it a…

Pros
  • βœ… The leather knife is also used as a paring knife.
