$26 paid. The fan is stable and cools well. I only have a few shortcomings: 1.) Fan grill. One side doesn't connect and the others do, so it's just aesthetically pleasing. The 2nd fan head (motor, blades and grille) basically goes on top of the rod body and you screw in the knob to tighten it so it stays up. Mine went down 2 times because it wasn't tight enough, although I could swear it was. Maybe the grip on the head isn't that strong? I don't know but it's only happened 2 times, yes it's not

This is my second attempt to get a working fan. The first one I bought stopped working and started smelling like a burning engine less than a day after I used it. Revane has agreed to provide me with a replacement. Right out of the box I discovered that the locking bracket that rotates the fan and stays attached to the shaft was broken. The only positive thing I can say about this product is that it is on. The fan arrived aesthetically similar to having been thrown out of a 100th floor window and hit with cement, but didn't shatter. It is riddled with scratches, the mainshaft is bent and the fan blades are cracked. This fan really does the trick: keeping me cool when I'm sitting on the porch. The air blows well on all settings (it has low, medium and high) but I'll tell you it rattles on every setting above low and oh my god let me tell you it rumbles. The noise is coming from the rocker switch and to solve this I'm going to try putting double sided tape on it and wrapping it with something to muffle the rattling.
