Description of OSD Audio PS10 Powered Subwoofer

POWER: The PS10 is capable of a 200 Watt power output and fills in the low notes missing from your movies and music and gives you that spine-tingling rumble effect from your home theater system. SOUND QUALITY: With the 10-inch subwoofer, this speaker has high sound pressure levels and produces sounds in the lower frequency range. This is a powered sub that doesn’t need a separate amplifier. BASS: The 200 Watt power output in the PS10 provides heavy bass and can reproduce the lowest of audible frequencies immersing you in your movie-watching experience. The frequency response is between 38Hz to 120Hz. INSTALLATION: Installing the PS10 is easy! Either use the subwoofer out (RCA connectors) or the pre-out output (speaker wire) from your amplifier and easily connect to the inputs on the back of the subwoofer. DESIGN: One of the advantages of the front firing speaker and port design is, it allows you to build it into a custom media center cabinet. Along with the Auto-on sensing, you can set it and forget it.

Great little sub! best speakers

I bought 2 subwoofers to replace my Definitive Technology Procinema 600 subwoofer. The OSD cabinet finish is perfect and matches my other speakers (Procinema 600 with Dolby Atmos front speakers and I have 5 extra tweeters for super high Frequencies added for more detail ) for both movies and music. They need time to crack. They sound very clear and you can feel the bass depending on what's being played. Remember these are 8 inch subwoofers, they are perfect for my setup as it is a small room. I

Disappointment with subwoofers

What's good: 1. Excellent packaging. 2. Acceptable sound quality but not even close to another branded subwoofer I had 10% larger. Bad: 1. The stitching on one edge has a tear of about 1-1.5 inches in length. Bad quality control? Or was it used as a demo? 2. The device comes with four legs on the side with speaker and controls plug is with the same sides and deeper than the legs. So you cannot mount the speaker unit face down without wobbling. It is mounted on three legs and a plug. You must…

Nice little Sub Fast

I like: Small size, nice finish. I don't like: Too light weight. I've always wanted a sealed subwoofer and I like big sound in small packages. This sub connects and connects like any other, no problem. The biggest disappointment was the light weight. My floors are ceramic tile and this subwoofer has rubber feet, but to get enough sound from this subwoofer I had to crank the volume up. while the sub's vibrations set it in motion. If it were heavier, or if the rubber feet were more grippy, it…

Saves space but struggles with bass.

Pros: Sleek design fits anywhere. Perfect for my small bedroom - Inputs and controls are well placed, better than some other budget brands that make the same type of subwoofer - Perfectly complements a 5.1 surround sound system. It's not super powerful bass, but it offers decent weight and some low frequencies that it works really well with (I'd say in the 60-100Hz range). Cons: - Distortion at mid to high bass levels. Don't really think this is actually a 200w subwoofer. - Suffering from port…

Great little sub! for subwoofer

I bought this OSD Audio Nero Dual X8 to add to a secondary 2 channel audio system that is in the living room of my house and it really helped. I have multiple audio systems, multiple 12" subwoofers, tube amps, etc., so I didn't expect that the addition of an 8" subwoofer in the living room would come as a shock, but that wasn't my goal. This system is "Zone 2" for my larger audio system and is just a two channel system for occasional TV and music playback around the house via Zone 2 from the…
