These are great for filling in high frequencies, female voices, screeching cars, or anything from a Pink Floyd Animals album. I installed them as in-wall speakers at a height of 6 feet for surround sound. They fill in the gaps in things that the distortion won't let you hear. Super value for high frequencies.

great speakers I bought 1 pair of Kevlar ACE850 and 2 pairs of ACE650, the carbon kevlar design gives them a pretty good look. The materials are of very good quality, the volume and the sound are convincing, without distortions or annoying noises. The frameless design is ideal for combining beautiful ceilings with the best system.

I bought these for background music in my house. For the pair price I wasn't expecting much. I'm totally amazed. These things sound fantastic. The low frequency range is better than the 10" 3-way speakers I also bought. Remember to replace the 10" with these! The high frequencies are crisp and clear. I highly recommend these speakers having worked professionally in the home and car audio industry for over 40 years.

Like most people I've been forced to buy more famous speakers. Didn't know anything about this manufacturer. I used Harmon bookshelf speakers with an HK receiver. I have listened to many speakers looking for good speakers for my home audio. This speaker is the best speaker I have ever heard, especially for the price. I've now installed a couple in my dining room and all I can say is that I didn't get good speakers - I got GREAT speakers! The tonal qualities are really good, the sound is clear and crisp with good bass. I will be buying more of these to complete the sound for the whole house and possibly more. I also have a pair of OSD Street Rock speakers

Can't get it working for a few more weeks but would like to start a review to maybe help others. Mounting screws for ACE400 have very soft heads. I gathered a few on my first install attempt. I then attempted to thread the screws into the unmounted speaker and found that the levers that rotate and grip the backing of the drywall do not stay vertical and cause sticking. After fully tightening and then backing out each lever, I avoided further rounding of the heads. It seems that once caved in…

Very clean speakers. Very small footprint and minimal bezel. Magnetic cover which is much better than the old mesh attached to the ring. The sound is impressive for its size. I use them in 5.1 configuration for surround sound and music. Even the 4 inch center channel does a great job. I recommend purchasing a Milwaukee adjustable hole saw.
