Overpriced: Education

Does the job, but it's funny that you basically have to pay an extra ten bucks for a rubber band just because you have a newer tablet. It should be a courtesy item, or at least a lot cheaper.

Waste of money - training and education

It literally only holds the part of the Osmo mirror that is set just a quarter inch higher to adjust the camera position. You can just as easily use some strong rubber bands to do the same. If you're buying asparagus, these rubber bands are a good thickness.

Must have in Osmo - effective but expensive

Osmo is really good and a great learning tool for kids and their tablets. While it does exactly what it needs to do, it has to be included with the Osmo or cost $1 or less.

Makes Osmo Tablet 100% successful

We needed this for our Fire HD 8 in order for Osmo products to work properly. It's annoying that you have to buy the device to make it work, hence I'm giving 1 star, but for the various games to work, 5 stars. (especially the Osmo Pizza Store) The frustration went away after using this adapter. It is what it is, get an adapter for more comfortable gaming.

Should be included in the starter kit.

Funnily enough, this item is not included in the starter set. Each of my kids got a base for Christmas that can't be used right away and they want to charge me $7 and make me wait until January for them to arrive. Also, I couldn't find any mention of this adapter anywhere until I went most of the way through setup and a little advertising on the compatibility page. You must be ashamed.

Overpriced! OSMO did some good googling here. Use a rubber band instead, it works, no need to buy it.

This overpriced item should be in your fire pill kit. I bought this for my daughter for Christmas only to find it didn't work at all due to a small overpriced item that was easily added to the kit. I got it working with a rubber band (the one in the picture, color doesn't matter) after figuring out what the problem was. could check it. OSMO had better do the right thing because it's annoying and awkward.

OSMO starter kit purchased - Manual says I may need aOsmo - Reflector adapter for Fire HD 8 - 10th Gen (required for horizontal positioning) I have ordered this item 2 times Package with either one items displayed in the order overview. Not really sure if this is required

I bought this because I got my son a new Fire tablet and wanted to set up Osmo on his new device. I was initially able to get the Osmo to work on the new device simply by adjusting the reflector position, but I saw this adapter during the Daily Deal and decided to go with it. If I knew what I was buying, I probably wouldn't spend any money. I made the purchase assuming I was getting a brand new reflector. What you actually get is just a small rubber pad that allows the reflector to sit a little
