This blade hurts me when I cut my hair. I have another Oster 1 1/2 blade and it doesn't hurt. I don't know what is different about this Oster blade other than this new blade is stamped L311E on the metal and my other blade is stamped SX on the metal blade. This new blade feels really different and hurts.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • not sure

Perfect Model 10 Companion

This blade is great. Fits perfectly on the Oster 10 model. For some reason this is not the same as the old builds. The teeth of a metal comb are less smooth at the edges. This causes the blade to cut less straight hair and becomes a bit painful. Especially with facial hair. The rest is a solid blade.

Pros
  • Solid Finish
Cons
  • So Far So Good

Good for first few passes but not good for fading

Bought brand new and used 3 times since coverage began. I've been cutting my hair for 25 years so I know what I'm doing. They're good for the first few passes, but they drag. I keep them oiled during use and storage. They are also not very sharp when trying to fade with them. It's easier to just cut off the free hand with a 0 or 1. I think I'll try to buy a plastic guard 1 and use a sharp blade 000 with it.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

They pull! - Trimmer and clipper blades

These blades were the worst blades I have ever bought in my 48 years as a barber. They pull. They don't climb smoothly up the head. I would not recommend these.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • No mold required

Sharp edges/scratches

The new 1-1/2 number I received has very sharp edges, it scratches the skin and isn't as smooth as my old one, the witch is dull, I compared the edges , there is definitely a difference between them, I don't know if it's fake or just a defect, but I can't use it for my customers.

Pros
  • Quality build
Cons
  • Compatibility

Just what I needed, wish I'd bought it sooner

Works perfectly with my classic 76 and cuts my thick hair like butter. All this will pay off in a certain time when there are no more visits to the hairdresser.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Almost never

DO NOT BUY! Beauty & Personal Care

SUPER ROUGH/SPICY? I don't know how to explain it but it made the skin very red after use and even cut it a couple of times. It doesn't have smooth edges/surfaces like typical blades. don't waste money

Binding hair care for hair cutting tools

I bought several of these blades in different sizes. They look great, but they all pull their hair like crazy. I've tried different approaches from different angles, different lubes and cleaned them thoroughly with no improvement unfortunately. I want to talk about how to solve this problem. These blades have been useless to me since I bought them because they hurt people by pulling their hair.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Sad package

Dull blades for trimmer and clipper

Maybe just an accident. I've used several of these and this was the only one I had problems with. Pulls out hair but does not cut. Has gotten better over time after some oiling and use, but still pulls hairs from dullness or some other defect from time to time.

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Damaged
