OTC's Bearing Splitters feature 'knife-like' edges which are easily placed behind the part to secure a gripping surface, even when clearances are extremely limited. When used with an OTC 'Grip-O-Matic' puller, puller jaws grip attachment’s outer edge. When used with a Push-Puller, puller legs are threaded into the attachment’s two tapped holes. Constructed from high strength materials designed for long term use under the harshest conditions. Min/max spread - 1/2 to 5-3/4 inches; distance between threaded inserts - 6 inches; tapped holes in face of splitter halves - 5/8-18; use with puller nos. 1035, 1040, 1041, 1042, 1065, 1063, and 938.

Efficient steering & suspension tool

This tool is a must-have for any automotive enthusiast. It efficiently splits bearings with ease and saves time during repairs. The strong construction and precision design allow for durability and ease of use. The only downside is that it may not fit all types of bearings. Overall, a great investment for any mechanic or DIYer.

Strong bolts required if using a press. No kinks like we know from Northern Tool Company's inexpensive tools. Arrived quickly. excellent seller

Premium Best Wheel Bearing Tool

Works well, serious piece of equipment. My Harbor Freight tool warped trying to do the same job, this one was great. It would be nice to know which parts are made in the US and which are imported. My old (smaller) splitter only said US.
