1 piece, not 2 pieces.

Product Description WRONG!, this is 1 piece not 2 pieces. The torx bit would not come loose from the socket. I needed 2 pieces and had to return it due to incorrect product description. Very uncomfortable. 4 stars because it's not the device.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Heavy Duty Torx Bit

I couldn't find a T60 bit size TORX head in any of the hardware stores near me, those stores don't have that size so I ended up buying this OTC torx head which is a bit expensive compared to other brands but I know this OTC nozzle will not break at high torque.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Easy to separate with the right tools.

I banged on this thing with a hammer and screwdriver for about 20 minutes and it didn't budge. I switched to this bolt and a claw hammer (which held the bolt in place with small padlocks) and the torx bit was out in about 10 seconds. The torx bit requires a 12mm wrench. 1/2 inch is too loose.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • May damage

Worked great with GM caliper

socket came as pictured, as far as I can tell it's fused but not all 1pc. I connected it to the brake rod and was glad I had the big 25" because the bolts were frozen to the car. The head went in there, hanging snugly in the nut head, and I was able to remove all of the caliper bolts with no effort. Any surprises or breakage/stripping or twisting of the torx section of the socket. I would highly recommend this socket if you are in the market for one.

Pros
  • hands free kit
Cons
  • Very expensive

Good tool, good price, fast delivery!

Great tool and a nice addition to my tool box. Fits and no problem. Used this with a 24" long 1/2" drive rod with no problems. On super rusty caliper bracket bolts. (A '96 Pontiac that hasn't been used for a few years). for years) who can afford it? Revain (Prime) delivered it quickly and free of charge - ordered Friday, in the mailbox Tuesday.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time

T60 Oil Filter Adapter for 4.0

Fun Fact: You can use a hammer and punch to knock the real part of the T60 bit out of the head holder part. Magically fits in the tiny gap between the Jeep 4.0 oil filter adapter bolt (XJ and ZJ guys know what I mean) and the frame rail. 2 foot 1/2" extensions on the end for loosening the oil filter adapter bolt on my ZJ, then switched to this attachment (disconnected from its 1/2" drive base) and a ratcheting socket to finish bolt removal and for assembly.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Jeep Oil Filter Adapter Bit

This is what you need for the Jeep Cherokee 4.0L Oil Filter Adapter. It's very easy to understand. Close the vise just enough to touch but not pinch the side of the hex. Place it with the bit down and the square hole up. Break it with a big hammer and knock it out. The socket portion is 1.5 inches long and the bit is 1 7/16 inches long. It takes a friend, so you have 3 hands for 3 crate keys. I used a thick plastic tube for a cheat bar on a wrench (hold it in a vise and lower the open end in)…

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Socket Required
