2020 Aries 2500! in spare parts

Buy tools now! The best Pitman puller I've ever used! In this video my 2020 Ram 2500 with lift. First try and it slipped right off! This is an amazing tool and a must have when making your own suspension.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Negative impression

Mandatory Steering Gear Replacement Tool

When I recently replaced the steering gear on my F250, I found that my newly purchased Harbor Freight bipod puller did not fit. After trying to wedge the bipod handle for about an hour, I gave up and ordered this one. It arrived in a day and worked fine. Expensive but worth it.

  • Regular Price
Cons

This puller saved me $170

Needed to replace seals on a Sheppard M80 transmission. On a 10 wheel international water truck. The bipod grip on this thing is just under 4 1/2 inches long. None of my other pullers were big enough. I was hoping this would work. The recommended puller is $240. I didn't like this option. Give it a try It took a bit of redneck engineering, but it worked!

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • Not as thick as other pullers

Great quality tool for the price

This tool is a little more expensive than the cheap version but with good reason. I should have bought this tool first, but I originally bought a cheaper version that didn't last long and didn't work. This tool worked like a charm. Very well made, very durable and does not bend like the cheap version. It's made to last and gets the job done. Shows you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Can't remember

Great tool! You can feel this tool is super powerful when you get your hands on it. It has a certain weight. I had a steering column arm that was stuck. Other tools bent or broke trying to pull it out. One try with this tool and it worked immediately. It's not a low-profile tool, so you'll have to partially disable some components to make room, but once enabled, it works great.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Seniors

He argued and did his job.

I bought this to remove the pitman lever on my Dodge 03' 2500. The front end appears to have been machined early and the best I can surmise is that the shock was EXTREMELY worn. I kept trying to be lighter with the puller so as not to break anything, but the situation wasn't over. So I tightened the fasteners and hit them with an impact wrench, something must have broken. To my surprise, this puller withstood the impact and the arm came free with a crash.

Pros
  • I'm crossing my fingers
Cons
  • too boring

The cheeks are too fat. 2003 Ram 2500

This would be a great puller if the nicks/teeth/fingers as they are called on the jaws weren't so thick. Tried to use traction on a 2003 Ram 2500. The teeth were too thick to fit in the gap between the steering box and linkage. To do this, they would have to be modified on a grinding machine. i buy tools I don't make tools. If I have to modify a tool to make it do its job, it's garbage to me. This is a conceptually good but functionally poor puller.

Pros
  • High grip and durability test results
Cons
  • Not as good as advertised

heavy duty! Best in Pitman Arms

Before I bought this one I broke two steering column pullers I rented from an auto parts store. That thing is massive! The lever on my 2001 Ford Super Duty 7.3 went off like butter after I put this thing on it. Since then I've used it many times to install lifts on my friends' trucks that need a drop arm. I just tighten the wing nuts and give the old Milwaukee a half whack. These trucks include the 1995 Dodge Ram 2500, 1999 Ford Super Duty, 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 and 2009 GMC Sierra 2500 to name a
