Description of OTC 6698 Knuckle Installer Current

Ford Axle Shaft Seal Installer. For use on 2005 and newer Ford F-450 and F-550 4X4s with vacuum-actuated front axles. Correctly installs the seal onto the axle shaft and into the wheel knuckle. Seal prevents front hub vacuum leaks that would cause the vacuum actuated front axle to not engage. Rugged construction ensures reliable long-term service.

Faulty Design, Causes More Damage

As a loyal customer in the automotive industry I was disappointed by this tool .As a result of using it, I found that it had a faulty design which actually ended up causing more damage to the vehicles i was working on. The tool was not easy to use and did not feel durable. On the plus side, the price was reasonable. However, the potential damage it could cause to a vehicle is not worth the cost savings..

Great for tools and gear

Works great, these tools are essential for caulking the knuckles. I have all three versions of these tools and they are all excellent.
