Expensive but really fits

Fits 2005 Acura TSX for removing and installing the front lower ball joint. The universal kits don't have the correct adapters, and the adapter kit at my local auto parts store that you can rent for a very low price (even the one for Honda!) wasn't the right size to remove the lower ball joint. This set had everything you need. One star deduction for the high price.

Pros
  • For cars
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Will not work on my Honda

Will not work on 2004 Honda Accord Sedan with 2.4L engine. The part that fits over the stud has a hole that is too small to fit completely on the stud. This will keep the part from touching the base of the ball joint and you won't be able to wrap the clamp around the entire assembly. Couldn't find anything suitable, ended up buying a used Snap On ball joint press. Expensive but worked great.

Pros
  • Tools and Equipment
Cons
  • Exchange Availability

Great for 2004 Acura Tsx

Great for 2004 Acura Tsx. This product has been a life saver when removing and installing new lower ball joints. There are videos on YouTube showing how to remove and install the lower ball joint using a rubber mallet and some force, but why do it when you risk installing the ball joint incorrectly or breaking it. I'm no mechanic, but if I can install the lower ball joints with this tool along with the necessary clamp (special tool, not a regular clamp) and an impact wrench, anyone can do it…

Pros
  • Ball Joint & Tie Rod Tools
Cons
  • Crumpled
