No ability to use wirelessly

I’ve tried almost a dozen times to get this device to connect to my phone via smart home app with no luck. Has super easy instructions on how to place in pairing mode, however the device is never detected.Manually pairing the device does not work either. The main reason I purchased was so I could use my phone or voice to turn on our string lights around our gazebo for hot-tub excursions. :(It does work though basic use. I can press the button on it to turn my lights off or on, as well as hold…

This is not IP55 waterproof rating!

Bought product for IP55 waterproof rating. Product was delivered and box says IP44?! Beware: this is not an IP55 rated product.

It didn’t work! on my review.

I ordered this and we haven’t been able to install it right away. when our electrician was available to install it, we unpackaged and plugged it in and it didn’t work. We tried it on several outlets just to make sure it wasn’t that one outlet and it didn’t work on any. I can’t return it because it’s a month past the return window. Very frustrating.

This dimmer is so easy to set up and the iPhone app works very well! It's exactly what I was looking for to dim the string lights on my patio!

Smart Life interface not so hot

Installing Smart Life on my iPhone was not easy. Once installed all the features the dimmer has have not worked, and there is no easy way to figure out what the issues are. So, it sorta works. I got another dimmer with dedicated remote controllers (cheaper that this one too) and it works great. I'll keep it as a reserve and for when I want to try another line of remote controlled lights, and also because I find Revain's return procedure not so easy.

Do not accept negative reviews in decision making.

I read the disatisfied reviews prior to purchasing but decided to try it anyway. The product was super easy to set up using my cell phone. It works perfectly.on/off, dim, brighten, timer all worked right off the bat. No problems at all with smart app.

Bluetooth ONLY if WiFi is Available

I purchased this to use on my camper because it stated Bluetooth, not "Bluetooth only if you're connected to WiFi" I took my first camping trip and frustratingly found out that this was the sad truth. Unfortunately my first camping trip was outside the return window. I hope my loss prevents this from happening to someone else.

Dims LED lights from one percent to one hundred

Old unit would only do low, medium, and high. This one does the entire range. Alexa, turn patio light on 17%. Hint: Allow Alexa to find it and then add it to a group so you don't have to remember its actual name.

Great product but didn’t last long…

Really liked this product at first. Recently had a rain storm and it got wet and is no longer working. Won’t even power on. Be careful if you plan on buying, product can’t get wet even though description says it’s waterproof and meant for the outdoors.

Instant workability!

Just set it up for manual operation instead of utilizing any smart features for now . Love how it worked from the minute I plugged it in. The lights never flickered and give a way more subtle lighting effect now that I can dim them. PERFECT for the back porch get togethers without blinding my guests.

Worked for a while.

It has stopped working in less than a year. I purchased this in Feb and it's now Sept. It will not power up regardless of what I do. I enjoyed this product while it worked but I will not buy another.

Returned defective "strobe light " dimmer, replacement works as expected.

-Update: returned the defective dimmer and a new one was shipped out by Revain. After about one week, this new Wifi dimmer continues to work just fine. It works well with Smart Life app / Alexa and integrates with other wifi switches and plugs already on my home setup.This is the worst. Dimmer function is totally useless because it flickers on any setting other than 100%. I have tried several different dimmable bulbs, all with the same seizure inducing strobing.
