I've just picked it up and put it down but I'm impressed with the overall quality and look. The edges must be weighted at the beginning. It's not super soft, but it's comfortable to walk on. I have several plastic floor mats that we use on our van and they are much better in quality and weight. I thought the price was great for the quality.

Both sides look like the rough underside of a carpet. If you step on it, you'll slip and fly. Doesn't look like carpet. But I just like the rough backside. I had to spend a few bucks more to get something that looked like a rug. See photo. Both sides look unfinished. It would be awkward to return so I don't know what I'll do with it.

I use it as a living room rug. I used to have fashionable expensive carpets, but then I got a dog. This rug doesn't look like an outdoor rug, but the fabric is definitely made for the weather, or in my case, dog pee. This rug is suitable for every family. I got it because I have a toddler and this rug stands the test. It's waterproof yet comfortable to walk on instead of chipping or wearing out the rough plastic texture you'd expect. It's two-sided.
