The light has no internal nut so cannot be attached to a screw - it is not threaded so cannot be attached. My 5 year old son saved pocket money to buy this. He was so excited and couldn't wait to get it as he finally saved up enough to place an order. The light is mounted with a bracket that has a bolt and nut. The mother is INSIDE the lantern. So when you unscrew it to install, the nut will fall off the bolt into the light and rattle. I spent an hour taking the lantern apart, pulling out the nut and trying to put it back together. Finally, we just fixed it with a cable tie. This is very bad design. NO volume control that suits me perfectly. My biggest problem was installing it on a kids bike with 16 inch wheels. Standard size handlebar (about 1 inch outside diameter).
