    As others have said, this is not a standard box connection and the wires are VERY small.

    I needed a cheap IR light controller to replace a 25+ year old device that cost 10 times the price but only lasted a quarter of a century <g>. and installation in a standard electrical box is more difficult than it should be. I believe(?) it's rated for driving about 5 amps, and I certainly didn't expect the wires to be capable of more.

OK, BLUE WIRE GOES TO BOTH LAMPS WHITE AND POWER IN LINE (NEW) WHITE / RED GOES TO 2 BLACKS FROM LAMP GROUND / BROWN GOES TO YOUR BLACK HOTLINE FROM ROMEX ONLY (HERE ONLY). YES, THE BODY IN THE HOLE OF YOUR STANDARD PLATE IS DIFFERENT. ON THIS SUBSTITUTE WILL BE GIVEN A GREAT TALK ABOUT THE SUBSTITUTE.
