The red wire heats up when the sensor detects movement2. Wire number 16 has nothing to do with safety for 120 volts: what matters is the load (amps) you will be using in the circuit. #16 is rated by NEC for 11 amps at 120 VAC. In Europe, wire #16 carries 22 amps at 220 VAC. One ampere is roughly equivalent to a 100 watt light bulb.3. . That's right, blue isn't the standard color for neutral in the US. But that doesn't make it wrong. Only confuses the person who probably shouldn't install this device.4. I installed the switch in parallel with the sensors so I can always turn on the settings during the party. I had no feedback.5. I plan to buy more of this item6. The length of the wires can be up to 12 inches. Hope this fixes something.
