Favorable for catalytic converters

Cheap solution to pass the TÜV test. I don't know how to say what that inner core is made of, but I don't care. For the price I can beat him. I paid the guy 40 to have it welded in the center pipe so all said and done, way cheaper than anything else I could find.

It's lost some of the deep rumble but still has a great sound.

I installed a 4" MBRP exhaust on my 2005 Duramax 5 years ago. Well this year my Virginia State Inspectorate failed an emissions test because I changed the stock exhaust. I have this The truck put it back in line It's lost some of the deep rumble but still has a great sound.

Passed Colorado emissions

Had to weld this cat on my '97 Cummins to get past those stupid Colorado emissions. Inside diameter 4 inches. Didn't feel any drop in performance. Called exhaust readers in the spring and told me it wouldn't work, but Performance Auto and Diesel Repair in Loveland said it would. However, the manufacturer said that it needs to be welded. Hope that helps.

Quality product at an affordable price

My friend has moved to Pennsylvania where catalytic converters are required even for older diesel trucks. Looking for a quick fix I bought these and welded them to my existing exhaust. The part is high quality, thicker steel (rather than flimsy scrap) and good quality, as well as being small and good looking with a bullet design. It worked for what we needed, was affordable and if I needed it I would buy it again.

Great product at a great price

Great item! Very little drag, screws straight into a 4" system...I used stainless steel belt clips, there's enough material on the cat to bite with a belt clip. Really let me upgrade my exhaust to be Ohio." Is eCheck compliant The price is excellent because let's be honest...cats aren't a very nice thing...and they don't add HP I'm also sure that after passing the exam you'll get your heart out could beat if you really wanted to ;-) ... I suppose that would be pretty easy.
